Amid the pressing need for our society to lighten its impact on the environment, we at Andrews & Partners advocate increasing environmental awareness and minimizing our effect on the environment.

What does it mean to be green? With the sudden rage for all things ecofriendly, it's easy to lose sight of why exactly they are “green.” Being green in architecture and engineering means using designs, materials, and construction methods that promote recyclability, that minimize waste, and that lead to a reduced need for electricity for air-conditioning and lighting. It means, as we like to call it, being environmentally efficient—consuming the least possible resources at the least possible expense to the environment.
